Qidong Fungene Biotechnology, formerly Beijing Fungene Biotechnology Co., Ltd., was established in April 2019 in the Qidong Economic Development Zone. It collaborated with the Peking University Institute of Life Sciences East Industry Research Institute to build a fruit fly resource platform. Fungene is dedicated to providing gene editing services for insects to support research. It has a mature technology platform and offers various services like transgenic and gene editing. To date, it has completed over 5000 projects and has more than 200 clients.
Fungene Biotech is dedicated to creating a whole-product-system for drosophila experiments, including food, consumables, and instruments, enabling reseachers easily to achieve one-stop complete configuration from zero.

Fungene Biotech provides the mature and efficient technical services of transposation, attP-PhiC31 integration, and CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing for Drosophilia and other insects, covering the entire process from scheme design to stable lines. We have successfully created over 8,000 genome-edited strains.
Fungene Biotech also provides a range of experimental technical services related to fruit fly, including molecular biology experiments, genetics experiments, and phenotypic analysis. We aim to assist clients in scientific research, and provide the technical support.
